Petycja o przeniesienie części kosztów czesnego z semestru letniego 2020 BBA rocznik 2019/2020

My, niżej podpisani zwracamy się z uprzejmą prośbą o przeniesienie kosztów czesnego z semestru letniego 2020 i/lub obniżenie kosztów czesnego na semestr zimowy 2020/2021 dla studentów Bachelor of Business and Administration rocznika 2019-2022, w związku z zaistniałą pandemią koronawirusa COVID-19, której następstwem była zmiana formy nauczania.
Nasz wniosek motywujemy utratą możliwości zarobkowych oraz płynności finansowej przez znaczną część studentów, jak również niepełnym wywiązaniem się z obowiązków zawartych w umowie przez poszczególnych wykładowców w semestrze letnim w 2020 roku.
Z dniem 11 marca bieżącego roku, zajęcia stacjonarne zostały zawieszone i wprowadzony został zdalny tryb nauczania, który znacznie różnił się od trybu stacjonarnego. Część przedmiotów nie została zrealizowana zgodnie z programem kształcenia dla kierunku Bachelor of Business and Administration, zarówno pod względem założonej liczby godzin, jak i jakości kształcenia. Poszczególne zajęcia nie odbyły się, a niektóre przedmioty zupełnie nie zostały przeprowadzone. W kilku przypadkach otrzymaliśmy jedynie materiały w postaci prezentacji lub artykułów ogólnodostępnych online, niebędących własnością intelektualną wykładowców, bez wyjaśnienia zagadnień typowego dla trybu stacjonarnego.
Zmiana trybu nauczania spowodowała liczne trudności techniczne, takie jak: problemy z połączeniami ze strony prowadzących, opóźnienia w starcie zajęć, kłopoty z przypisaniem wszystkich studentów na platformach e-learningowych oraz problemy z przeprowadzeniem egzaminów. Nowa sytuacja naraziła studentów na dodatkowe koszty, związane z zakupem odpowiednich narzędzi, umożliwiających udział w zajęciach. Ponadto kontakt z częścią prowadzących był utrudniony, w niektórych przypadkach - niemożliwy.
W związku z powyższym, uważamy że wysokość opłaty semestralnej za semestr letni przewidziana w umowie, nie jest adekwatna względem opłaty semestralnej za semestr zimowy. Jakość kształcenia oferowana przez Uniwersytet Wrocławski w drugim semestrze znacznie odbiega od poziomu kształcenia w semestrze pierwszym.
Mimo problematycznej sytuacji, z którą musimy się zmierzyć, większość z nas pragnie kontynuować wybrany kierunek, jednakoż z wyżej wymienionych powodów, obciążenia materialne, jak i proporcjonalność jakości nauczania do poniesionych kosztów, to uniemożliwia.
Mamy nadzieję na pozytywne rozpatrzenie naszej petycji.

We, the undersigned, kindly request to move the tuition costs from the summer semester 2020 and/or lower the tuition costs to the winter semester 2020/2021 for Bachelor of Business and Administration students 2019-2022, in connection with the existing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, which resulted in the change of the form of teaching.
We motivate our application with the loss of earning potential and financial liquidity by a significant part of students, as well as with incomplete fulfillment of the obligations contained in the contract by individual lecturers in the summer semester in 2020.
As of March 11 this year, full-time classes were suspended and the remote teaching mode was introduced, which was significantly different from the full-time one. Some of the subjects were not completed in accordance with the Bachelor of Business and Administration program, both in terms of the assumed number of hours and the quality of education. Individual classes were not held, and some subjects were not conducted at all. In a few cases, we only received materials in the form of presentations or generally available online articles, not being the intellectual property of the lecturers, without explaining the issues, which is typical for the stationary mode.
The change of the teaching mode caused numerous technical difficulties, such as connection problems on the part of the lecturers, delays in starting classes, problems with assigning all students on e-learning platforms, and problems with conducting exams. The new situation exposed students to additional costs related to the purchase of appropriate tools needed to participate in classes. In addition, contact with some of the lecturers was difficult, in some cases - impossible.
Due to the above, we believe that the amount of the semester fee for the summer semester provided in the contract is not adequate to the semester fee for the winter semester. The quality of education offered by the University of Wrocław in the second semester differs significantly from the level of education in the first semester.
Despite the problematic situation that we have to deal with, most of us want to continue the chosen program of studies, but for the above-mentioned reasons, the material burden and the proportionality of the quality of teaching to the costs incurred make it impossible.
